Fashion Illustrations - St Martins

Here are 2 images for Graphics - we had to research and look at fashion illustrations so i chose to look at 2 students from Central St Martins - I love the layered look and how it's very simple in design but captivating - Here's the first image by David Koma.

I love how it's a simple up and down of a model with his design placed over the top i'd like to do something similar to this.

The second is Laura Mackness

I like how the designs are drawn out but a model head has just been used. - out of the 2 i think i'd like to experiment with the David Koma style of illustrations and this effect to showcase my work or possibly incorporate the 2 together.
