as you probably already guessed he is albino.
Been modelling since 16 - recently walked paris fashion week, the first albino african american men to do so. achievement right? ofcourse!

Beauty is different especially in the fashion world, and he certainly is different! You might recognize him from ID magazine "It Don't Matter If You're Black Or White".
He is definitly one to watch!

Post-Spocalyptic Garment

I'm quite ahead in this project for once :) Got all my pattern pieces cut out however we weren' sure whether they were too big since im using stretchy material!


so i toiled it using my material and alas, it was way to big!! not figure hugging at all, so i marked my adjustments on the toile and re-cut and re-drew my pattern pieces.



This was all very tedious lol but in the end i got a toile that was just how i wanted!

worth the wait i think!
will post proper pics tommorow showing how it looks on a body.
beggining to get excited to see it complete!
worrying about the textile element but oh well!

Catch-Up

Been slacking on the blog front, but got loads of info to post up so i'll soon be back on track :)

Alexander McQueen Tribute / Vogue Paris (May)

Vogue Paris has done a tribute to the late and great Alexander Mcqueen in the May edition. The styling was done by Carine Roitfeld and sensually called Erotica. Capturing a sense of light and dark and an erotic women as the title would suggest. Some examples of the fall couture collections are also used, including pieces from designers such as Dior, Chanel and Valentino haute couture.

Photographer was Steven Klein and the model is Lily Donaldson - Lookin Fierce!

Mode Féroce - Post Apocalyptic

All the nitty-gritty sketchbooking stages are out of the way (Kinda :s) and have been completed over half-term break which we all know was well needed not to mention deserved!.

Now we have started the process in which we are creating our chosen final garments - for all those who don't know, my theme is Armageddon and the progression back to the Garden Of Eden paradise.
I'll be posting pics up soon of my work and where i'm at currently.
